I laughed my ass off when the Swedish Synth Pop band ABBA, was inducted into The ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame. And there's no room for Rush or SRV. This is more of a joke than a list by Rolling Stone. I haven't taken the RNR HOF seriously in awhile. They do have some good performances sometimes though. But the induction process is preposterous. I just look forward to the amazing performances that occasionally transpire, such as:

Next thing you guys are going to tell me is that studio influence is behind the Academy Awards...

I'm not a Prince fan, but he SHOULD be in the HOF, and I have a lot of respect for what he's done. That being said, I don't find that particular solo to be very impressive. It's good, but he's capable of much better than that. Try listening to it without all the flashy antics from Prince, and I don't think it will be as impressive.
